New, in our featured desserts section, are two flavors of Japanese-style pudding! Japanese pudding, or “purin” (プリン) is a mildly sweet, flan-like custard dessert. Though it shares a name, it is quite different from its american counterpart. Japanese pudding is gently cooked from quality eggs, milk and sugar, and is served cold topped with a clear caramel sauce. It is generally served by upending the cup it’s packaged in on a plate, so that the caramel sauce runs down the sides. Our Japanese pudding is currently available in matcha green tea flavor, and classic vanilla.
