Craving a taste of traditional Japan? Look no further than Neo Warabimochi! This delightful dessert, known for its unique jelly-like texture and satisfying chewiness, is a staple of Japanese sweets, or wagashi.
Unlike traditional mochi made from glutinous rice, warabimochi is crafted from warabiko (bracken starch). This ingredient gives it a distinct, softer, and more jelly-like texture than regular mochi. Historically, warabimochi was a luxurious treat, enjoyed by Japanese aristocracy during the Heian period (794-1185). It became more widespread in the Edo period (1603-1868) and is particularly popular as a refreshing summer treat, often served chilled.
With Neo Warabimochi, you can enjoy this traditional treat in a flash! These easy-to-use mixes let you whip up your own warabimochi at home in just 15 seconds.
There are two different kinds of flavors - Kinako and Matcha.
Kinako: It's the classic flavor. Enjoy the nutty, subtle sweetness of roasted soybean flour.
Matcha: It's perfect for matcha lovers. Indulge in the rich, earthy tones of Uji matcha from Kyoto, Japan.
How to Make Neo Warabimochi
Open the silver packet and place the contents in a bowl.
Add 1/4 cup (60 ml) of water and mix vigorously for 15 seconds until the mixture thickens and congeals into a delightful mochi texture.

It's ready!
Note: You can alternate water with other drinks such as coffee, milk, green tea, wine, etc. It's officially recommended!

You can enjoy a delicious and satisfying warabimochi treat in no time. Isn't it very easy? With these convenient mixes, you can experience the unique texture and flavor of traditional Japanese Warabimochi anytime, anywhere!
