Children's Day



May 5th is Children's Day in Japan! Please come in on May 5th, Saturday to celebrate Kid’s Day with us! All children will receive a free small gift of Funny Japanese Erasers at the grocery! So please stop by!

Did you know?

The boy holding a stick with three carp-shaped flags which is called Koinobori (鯉のぼり) is a traditional symbol of Children's' Day that families raise on May 5th. On the top carp is for the father, second is for the mother, and the third is for the children (traditionally each son). Konobori is represented parents' wish their children's happiness.
