It's a Japanese anime (cartoon) which is based on a manga (comic book) which has been published over 0.15 billion copies - the 9th place in the Japanese manga history, even though the first book came out only 5 years ago. The anime version is even more popular, and is currently on Netflix in the U.S.A. After a demon attack leaves his family slain and his sister cursed and turned into a demon, the main character Tanjiro embarks upon a perilous journey to find a cure and avenge those he's lost.
