Aki Matsuri – Fall Festival

Join us on Saturday, September 13th 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Shauffele Plaza in Ardmore for a celebration of Japanese culture and the fall harvest.

This FREE event, hosted by JASGP and Maido!, promises fun for all ages with activities including:

• Taiko drumming by Casual Fifth and KyoDaiko

• Traditional music and dancing by the Seabrook Minyo Dance Group

• Origami, mini Chochin lantern, and Uchiwa Fan “Make-and-Take”

• Play Japanese games to win prizes, such as YoYo Tsuri (YoYo Balloon Fishing) and Chopstick Candy eating races

• Cosplay Fashion Show by Zenkaikon

• Karaoke

• Japanese food by Maido!

Plus, explore unique vendors like Mintandapple, Kate Iwaki, Sara Gdula Kimonos, Japanese Association of Greater Philadelphia, The Shofuso Gift Shop, Zenkaikon Anime and Sci-Fi Cosplay Convention, and Urasenke Philadelphia Tea School.
